Eric Flandorfer
I graduated from Mississippi State University in 1989 with a BFA in Graphic Design. After graduation, it never really occurred to me to stay in Mississippi, as opportunities in graphic design were limited. During the 80s Dallas was “the hottest graphic design town on the planet,” so I, being a young man, headed west. Thus began 30+ years of working with some
of the hottest shops in Dallas.
My work life as a production designer has been spent mostly in design studios, giving me a unique perspective working with designers and creatives. A keen understanding of the role design plays within the architecture of a brand, then implementing that “structure” across printed or interactive media, resulting in impeccably produced and on-brand communications. I’m highly skilled at producing materials for print and web where the type is readable, the photos are beautiful, the reproduction goes smoothly, and your budget is not shattered.
My production efforts include print-ready mechanical artwork, extensive digital image manipulation including retouching and color correction, creation of comprehensive artwork for client presentations, print management that includes final press-checks, interactive media production including html problem-solving, and site manipulation. I could go on, and I will if you just let me.
